During this brand identity project I developed a set of strong, honest, graphically expressive and uncomplicated communications that represent how I want to be perceived.
I developed my idea from my passion for and experience
with the study of architecture. Graphic designers have the same belief as architects. Design should be made by people, for people. I looked into the three recent architectural styles that celebrate this belief, Bauhaus, Art Nouveau, and the Vienna Secession. I was inspired by the poster for the Vienna Secession in 1900 of the architects, designers, builders, and artists who came together to focus on the integrity of design. I have created my own set of initials to match, representing the respect I have for their values and my desire to implement their beliefs into my own work.
